It's mission statement is to create, as a community, the leading international mind mapping and brainstorming software that will run on all major platforms and raise our work efficiency, save our time. XMind 3 project is primarily sponsored by XMind LTD, which is the primary contributor of code to the Project. It is based on XMind 3, and has many advanced features, such as Presentation, Audion Notes, Privately Share, TaskInfo, Gantt View, Filter, and etc. These features can bring great advantages for your business work. Share.XMind.net is online service to let us upload and share mind maps. All XMind users can be free to upload, download or comment existed maps. Privately Sharing is an advanced feature for XMind Pro Subscribers only. With privately sharing, they can restrict access to their online mind maps and share only with designated contacts.

2008: The Year of Open

• 11-10-2008, XMind releases its first open source software, XMind 3.
• 11-05-2008, XMind releases its new version XMind Pro 3, which can be subscribed now.
• 03-31-2008, XMind releases XMind 2008 v2.3.
• 03-18-2008, XMind wins the "Best Commercial RCP Application" award at EclipseCon 2008.
• 01-19-2008, XMind releases XMind 2008 v2.2.

2007: First Big Break

• 11-30-2007, XMind releases XMind 2008 v2.1.
• 11-15-2007, XMind garners award as "The 100 Best Products of 2007" from PC World China.
• 11-04-2007, XMind for Leopard is ready.
• 09-30-2007, XMind big version, XMind 2008, is ready. XMind 2008 has Chinese, English, and Germany version.
• 04-01-2007, XMind has the first global version, XMind 2007.
• 01-01-2007, XMind has the first beta version.
