But with XMIND's graphical interface, you can maintain greater control over your projects by clearly outlining the tasks and resources involved, and highlighting the interdependencies among them.
XMIND provides a high-level view of any project, with easy ways to drill down to underlying details. Topic branches convey the relationships between different issues, and can be expanded or drilled-down on to see additional information. Markers and labels reveal different priorities, and allow the progress of tasks to be easily tracked. The current status of the entire project can be quickly grasped and assessed at any time. These specific markers and labels also allow users to search or filter through multiple maps to find a particular task, all the tasks assigned to one team member, or all tasks due on a certain day.
XMIND supports business projects by providing a wide range of structures for organizing topics. Restructuring a map into a tree chart or org chart can be particularly useful for handling administrative issues. Fishbone charts can facilitate "cause and effect" analysis, and 2D charts help to gather related factors in matrix form, which facilitates such business techniques as a SWOT analysis.
XMIND can also be implemented as a "project container". Multiple projects can be saved as individual maps within a workbook, providing a single record of all projects in progress, as well as the different aspects of each project. Users can even add external data or documents to maps as attachments, or refer to web sites using hyperlinks.
